School Tours

Learn about and experience what attending a Summit-model school would entail.  Weekly tours will alternate between Summit Prep and Everest Public High School.  The format of Tuesday tours are a short Q&A session, in a smaller setting of 10-12 people (the intended audience is parents but students are welcome) that is followed by classroom observations.
o Tuesday mornings, 10 – 11:30 a.m.
o Tours begin October 12th
Space is limited – please reserve your space at the next Open House.  The first opportunity to sign up for a Tuesday tour will be at the first Open House on October 6th.


Shadowing

Student shadowing experiences are available after the family has attended an Open House or Tour.  Summit encourages all prospective applicants to attend a shadowing day, where students will get to attend classes, talk to current students, and get a first-hand experience of what is like to be a Summit student.  Shadow dates this year are:

• Oct 20th
• Nov 5th
• Nov 17th
• Dec 1st
• Feb 4th
• Feb 15th

There will be a limit of approximately 40 students for each shadow day; the first opportunity to sign up for a shadow date will be at the first Open House on October 6th.

Application Deadline for incoming Freshman for the fall of 2010: Friday, March 4, 2010 at 3:00 pm.  All applications must be received in the building by this time and date.  Late applications will not be considered for the lottery.
