Why We're Unique

Real World Experiences Equal Real World Success

Summit's rich curricular and extracurricular offerings are made possible in partnerships with community leaders and volunteer support from parents. The outcome of these collaborative efforts is that Summit’s high school graduates are prepared to move into college and into the world as aware, active, engaged and caring global citizens.

Volunteer parents provide support in many areas, including to help staff school events, serve student lunches, provide transportation for field trips, and even participate in recruiting the new freshman class every year. Upon enrollment, each student and his or her family become acquainted with, and find ways to support, Summit’s volunteer efforts.

Our Community Partners Provide a Living Laboratory That Adds Real-World Experience to Academic Classroom Concepts and Help Us Bring Learning to Life.

It is through this variety of community experiences that our students not only expand their horizons and build their character, they also learn how they can make thoughtful choices about the opportunities and issues that really matter to them.

100 Students Make-Up the Average Classroom...Our Classes Are Made Up of Only 25 Students, and Each Student Has a Dedicated Mentor.
